The story behind this AI inspired art:
“As a practising artist, I’m fascinated – and slightly unsettled – by the moment we’re living through.
“Artificial intelligence is changing how we think about creativity, authorship and imagination. Machines can now generate images in seconds that might once have taken a human artist hours, days or even weeks to create.
“So what does that mean for artists?
“I don’t have the answer. And that’s exactly why I made this painting.
“Rather than using AI to replace the artistic process, I wanted to explore the conversation between technology and human creativity. What happens when a machine suggests the direction, but a human decides what to do with it?
“For Ethereal Genesis, I asked ChatGPT to describe the ultimate painting for the year ahead – including its colours, style and primary subject.
“The response became the brief.
“I was given a long list of suggestions, including ‘neon pink’, ‘nature’, ‘AI’ and ‘large-scale installations’, along with the title ‘Ethereal Genesis‘. I then took those predictions and interpreted them through my own artistic process, turning a machine’s imagined future into a physical painting.

“But this isn’t intended to be a definitive prediction of what art will look like.
“It’s a question.
“If AI can imagine the future of art, what happens when a human artist decides to paint it? I’m planning to ask this exact question every year to see how close it gets.”

Size: This technology inspired artwork is available as small, medium, large or extra-large wall art prints of an original artwork. All prints come on 220-250 GSM paper.

Then, orders are carefully packaged in a reinforced envelope and dispatched by 1st Class Royal Mail on Friday.
