“I wanted this piece to feel both beautiful and slightly unsettling – a reminder that nature is constantly changing.
“I’ve always been inspired by nature and the way everything evolves over time, from the shape of a beak to the development of a new set of gills. I’m fascinated by evolution and the possibilities it creates, so I started wondering: what would happen if humans and butterflies could somehow merge together.
“That thought led me to the idea of a skull-winged butterfly. I began sketching, experimenting with how the delicate structure of a butterfly could transform something as permanent and familiar as a skull.
“I was interested in the tension between something fragile and something that appears permanent, and how those opposites can exist together in nature
“For me, Butterfly Skull represents the beauty of change, impermanence and resilience, and the slightly unsettling idea that nothing in nature ever stays the same.”

Size: This nature wall art is available as small, medium, large or extra-large wall art prints of an original artwork. All prints come on 220-250 GSM paper.
Delivery note: Please note I currently ship to the UK, but I will soon be accepting worldwide orders. All orders received before 4 pm Wednesday (UK GMT/UTC +1) are sent to the printers that evening. Then, orders are carefully packaged in a reinforced envelope and dispatched by 1st Class Royal Mail on Friday.
