“In 2024 I adopted my parent’s cat, Mila, and my life became a lot more catty! Later that year, I remember going to a kite festival – you know, the kinds of place where people crowd together and fly all kinds of kites, whales, crabs, snakes, you name it, there was probably an animal-related kite there. As I was watching one of the displays, I remember seeing a flash of green and purple – the same green and purple on my Colourful Leopard print. I couldn’t tell you what was on the kite, I just loved the colours, and I knew I wanted to paint a big cat.”
